The Branches White Like Cobwebs

The branches white like cobwebs
all clothy and moth-like,
clothed in cotton wool,
glistening and swaying in unison.
I’m drifting along like a big ship
and I don’t know where I’m going to set anchor,
I don,t know if I ever will.

I gaze into nothingness and find happiness.
The way you feel on a hilltop
where the most beautiful view
can be seen and felt all times in your mind
I’m sure if you want it so
because it is always there
changing and unchanging.

The splendiferous day lies at our feet
The splendour swells and in we go
Our duties we must do.
